Your flat has some cool features. I like the funky light on the ceiling in the bedroom. Also, I like the sliding doors that go into the office. Your flat looks like it's bigger than Holly's old apartment in Brooklyn. In honor of you, I'm humming the theme song to The Jeffersons right now. (And looking over my shoulder just in case my dad smacks me in the back of the head.) "...We've finally got a piece of the piiiiiiiiiiiie!"
It IS larger than the Queens apartment! Thanks for noticing. It's actually quite large, and as we're finding, much too large to effectively heat...
We are just 2 blocks from the Cathedral, but we can see it as soon as we step out of our door.
And that light is a Tord Boontje design. We don't have much, but we have Tord.
Hello, Kiwis...We have been trying to call you but we are not able to get through. Maybe your cel phones are not set up to accept international calls?? Hope that you have gotten your test mail delivered to your flat address. Since we are not able to communicate by phone or e-mail I think that we will just go ahead and send the boxes by airmail parcel post and hope that they get to you in CC.
We miss you a lot. Keep posting those pictures!

After a lot of experimentation, we have learned that to make a call to you from our phones, we have to dial 011-64-21-288-7708 or 7709 - do NOT dial the 0 (zed) in front of the Country Code (64) or the City Code (21). It's good to know that we can get hold of you if we need to.
