We have just about recovered from the 2007 Canterbury Cup and Show Week. It was a beautifully intense week of parties and horse racing centering around Cup Day at Addington Raceway. It is a fancy dress affair with big hats and lots of bubbly. We had our friends Olivia and Rob over for a big breakfast of eggs benedict before heading off to the races. The majority of the city goes to the race that Tuesday. We placed a few bets and even won 10 dollars before losing it all back, but it was loads of fun. Andy should hear about his scholarship any day now. We will let everyone know as soon as we hear.
Holly is doing well. She is making the best of her job and even found a really nice, small gym just up the street that she is quite excited about.
