Well everyone is back in their own country and things are very quiet here in Christchurch. Kelly and Micah got off just fine and we have heard that they are home safe. We spent our last days here in Christchurch doing some souvenir shopping and exploring the restaurant and cafe scene here. The two skiers rented a car one day and headed up to Mt Hutt for another day of southern hemisphere skiing in July.
We had a great time with our visitors. It was so wonderful to be able to show others around our NZ home.

All participants are now back in their respective home STATES too. Mom and Dad Hucks made the drive from Colorado to Virginia Beach in two L O N G days, arriving home at 1:00AM on Friday night. We're sitting around like zombies today letting our tired old bodies recuperate. We had a great visit in CO, but it's good to be home. We've noticed that it's a little more humid here, though...
We miss New Zealand, but at least we have the South Pacific Flu to remember you all by. I could really use a flat white to perk me up a bit. Or maybe some black currant juice with a dash of vodka. It's been fun looking at all of the pictures that everyone collected during our holiday. We had an awesome time!

The Rugby World Cup starts in September. It might be televised in the US on ESPN-8, 'the ocho.'
