Well it took the better part of a year, but Andy is now officially a fully-funded PhD student at the University of Canterbury. I was awarded the scholarship yesterday and could not be happier. It will pay my full tuition and fees as well as a moderate stipend that should definitely help out with living expenses. Even better, I can supplement my stipend by working as a TA. I've already been offered a TA position for an introductory statistics class starting on the 25th.
Thank you to everyone who helped me get to this point in my life. It's a great place to be... the view is amazing!
